As youth members of our society, if you’re eligible to vote please do your research and vote for the party you support! It’s our responsibility to voice our opinion and shape this government we live under. The date is May 2nd, 2011 so mark your calendars! Please note that there are advance polling times and locations if you can’t make it on May 2nd.

Am I registered to vote?

If you are registered to vote and Elections Canada has your current address, you should have received a voter information card in the mail. If your name and address are stated correctly, you are registered to vote at the polling place indicated on your card.

If you did not get a voter information card, or if your card is incorrect, you must contact Elections Canada to register to vote or update your voter information.

How do I register to vote?

To register to vote:
- call Elections Canada at 1-800-463-6868
- visit your local Elections Canada office before 6:00pm on Tuesday, April 26
- go to your advance polling place on Friday, April 22, Saturday, April 23 or Monday, April 25 or
- go to your election day polling on Monday, May 2
